David Cornelius Lucas

David Cornelius Lucas, 67, of Indian Head, Maryland passed away Thursday, January 1, 2026.  David was born February 18, 1958.

David is survived by his mother Vivian Jeannette Lucas; brothers Charles Allen Lucas and Christopher Henry Lucas; sisters Faith Elizabeth Lucas and Ina Vivian Lucas.

David is predeceased by his father John Wesley Lucas; brothers John Adrian Lucas and Jerome Andrew Lucas; and sister Jean Avis Gloster.

David was a building supply specialist.  He had a passion for growing and caring for house plants.

Memorial contributions can be made to the American Heart Association, UMD Medical Center Foundation.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, February 6, 2026 at 10:00 AM until time of memorial service at 11:00 AM.
