Mary Patricia Dudley

Mary Patricia Dudley passed away peacefully at her home in Indian Head, Maryland on March 6, 2024.  Mary was born October 21, 1954 in La Plata, Maryland to Charles Henderson Dudley and Eleanor Elizabeth Grinder Dudley.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Charles W. Dudley and nephew Peyton Greer. She is survived by her companion Pat Gentile, her sister Laura Dudley Hedges (Roger), nephews, Cory Dudley (Tammy), Christopher Dudley (Suzanne) and Joshua Hedges (Samantha).  Great nephews and nieces, Jacob, Gracie, Leigha, Kolten, Chase and Tessa whom loved their Mar Mar very much.

Mary was Director of Community Relations at Doctors Hospital.  She worked in the medical field for 42 years in a variety of roles.  She was a member of the Rotary Club in Prince George's County, representing her hospital. She held many positions in the organization. Her favorite was participating in the International Disaster Aid committee as secretary. She continued to volunteer with the organization even after retirement. Mary was known for always helping people.

She was always busy planning a celebration for someone or organizing the hospital gala fundraiser.  She will be missed by many.

A celebration of life will be held at the Indian Head Moose Lodge on Saturday, March 23, 2024 from 2-4 pm. (11 Moose Lodge Way, Indian Head, Md 20640).  If you would like to honor Mary in some way, you can choose to donate to a charity of your choice or by doing an act of kindness in her name.
