Gregory "Greg" T. Gillooly, 67, passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, in Frostburg, Maryland after his struggle with cancer.  Greg was born on May 14, 1959, in Decatur, Alabama.

He is preceded in death by his parents, John T. Gillooly and Jennieve D. Gillooly; and his brother Jeffrey A. Gillooly.  

He is survived by his siblings Christy (Freddie) Ford of Montevallo, AL; Michael (Fiona) Gillooly of Crofton, MD; Dennis (Nancy) Gillooly of Waldorf, MD; Patricia Hawkins of Fletcher, NC; Janet Gillooly of Lexington Park, MD; and Sheila (Ron) Batchelder of Simpsonville, SC.  He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.  

He always had a positive attitude and sense of humor no matter what he was faced with.  He took excellent care of our mother when she developed Alzheimer’s disease. He eventually lost his life when his cancer spread.  He will be forever in our hearts.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, July 13, 2026, from 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM.

There will be a Mass at St. Mary Star of The Sea Catholic Church on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at 11 AM.  Followed by interment at St. Charles Catholic Cemetery.
